We conduct basic and applied research within the social sciences, arts, and humanities for individuals and institutions. Basic research is traditional research that is conducted solely for the purpose of accumulating and contributing to knowledge. Applied research is research that is geared toward gathering knowledge for problem solving, e.g., formative and evaluative research using baseline and endline data to test the effectiveness or impact of interventions or programs. We assist individuals with all stages of the research process, including research design and methodology, institutional review board (IRB) process, development of research protocols, and data collection and analysis, as well as report writing. We also assist in the development of research instruments, such as survey questionnaires, and interview and focus group discussion guides.

We provide secondary research and analysis, such as desk reviews, policy reviews, and situational and bottleneck analysis for individuals, governments, businesses, and organizations. 

We are skilled in conducting both qualitative and quantitative data analysis using computer-assisted software, such as SPSS, PSPP, R, STATA, ATLAS.ti, Nvivo, and Dedoose.

We offer transcription and coding services for qualitative data. 

We provide quantitative data analysis using Pearson Correlation, Spearman Rank, Mann Whitney U test, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), Factor Analysis, Principal Component Analysis, Regression Time Series Analysis, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, Independent T-test, Paired Sample T-tests, Cross Tabulations, and Comparative Means, among others. 

We can also help you to organize, present, and communicate your data clearly and efficiently using a variety of appropriate data visualization tools, including charts, graphs, and maps, as well as assist you to prepare your PowerPoint presentation. 

Our team provides GIS-related services, including geocoding, georeferencing, geospatial analysis, and geovisualization.

We offer a free consultation where we assess where you are in your writing. We view samples of your writing, identify and discuss your strengths and weaknesses, and identify areas that need improvement. The results of this assessment is used to design a writing tutorial course that is specifically tailored to your needs. 

Our editing services include proofreading, formatting, copy editing, and substantive (or developmental) editing for all types of written materials, including research papers, journal articles, thesis, dissertations, books, seminar papers, technical reports, policy reports, grants, and proposals. 

Proofreading makes final checks for minor errors in spellings, punctuation, and grammar. Formatting ensures that text, structure, and organization of content comply with a prescribed style and other document requirements. Formatting does not include proofreading, but both services can be requested together as a package. Copy editing includes proofreading and formatting. Substantive or developmental editing involves line editing and may require significant content changes to a document. 

Substantive or developmental editing assesses and corrects for sentence structure, flow, organization of texts and ideas, logical consistency, coherence, and continuity of ideas. This type of editing may move block of texts or paragraphs around, and delete or revise sentences to ensure coherence and overall flow. While some editors tend to distinguish line editing from substantive or developmental editing, we consider it impractical to do line editing without ensuring that the sentences are logically organized and flow into each other, which transitions to substantive editing. 

Rates for editing vary by the nature of the project.

We also provide support services to help prepare you for a successful dissertation defense.
